Further to last weeks request re storage of CCTV footage and the request to keep as much pre & post event coverage as possible. Especially if your business is close to any of the incident areas.

Some questions have been raised re-concerns over digital storage capability and the fact that many systems start to over write previous footage, or reduce the quality of images stored.

Please ensure you transfer as much data of last Thursday and the immediate days before as possible. As well as storing as much data as possible from cameras covering the outside of your premises prior to and immediately after the event.

Please ensure this footage is stored safely and securely, recording by whom, where, and when this process was completed.

Do not contact police to inform us that you have complied with this request, please be assured investigators will contact you if your footage can assist with the enquiry.
