A very tall building has been proposed at 1 Museum Street, also known as Selkirk House, or the Travelodge building.
The development plans to increase the height of the already tall building very considerably. It would be visible from a wide area, including Bedford Square.
The Bloomsbury Association has already objected with other local groups and has questioned whether Camden have encouraged such development to maximise Section 106 and CIL income.
However it has been reported that Camden were unhappy with the size of the building.
An application is likely to be put in soon.
